food products - processing good food - the kenari beverage

two years first hand r&d in growing, processing, distributing and retail of good local food

Kenari's first two years of research into cracking the puzzle of local good food systems included its own hands on operations in each of the elements of growing, processing, distributing and retail of good local food. We did this to learn first hand the challenges and opportunities in this space.

real life impact of r&d

All Kenari Company’s products and services are designed to stimulate healthy neighborhoods and vibrant communities. Kenari subscribes to the philosophy of continuous improvement, whatever we invest in has immediate practical, even if simple, real life impact to our mission.

local food portfolio

The Kenari Company, Inc. owns a growing portfolio of unique food products that share characteristics of being created in the neighborhood and of being absolutely delightful in taste and composition. Kenari Portfolio food products use ingredients that are easily grown in simple urban farms, or backyard or community gardens.

kenari products success in Whole Foods Markets

The Company entered the retail market with its flagship product, a beverage created at farmers markets in Roswell during the summer of 2009 from ingredients grown on the Roswell Kenari Farm. Simply named ‘kenari’, the beverage, is delightfully tantalizing and refreshing. This category defying drink, enjoyed by young and old, is rich in antioxidants, beneficial minerals (Manganese, Iron, Calcium, Magnesium and Potassium), and Vitamins A, C and K. ‘kenari’ uses a unique blend of 12 herbs, yet unlike other healthy drinks, kenari is a winner in the taste category at a mere 60 calories. Unsweetened and Zero Calorie versions of ‘kenari’ are in testing and development. The kenari beverage is currently available at a growing number of independent neighborhood retail locations and in all Southern Region, USA – Whole Foods/Harry’s Farmer’s Market stores.
